This Agreement details your responsibilities as a user of these services. It also includes disclaimers of liability and other matters that are of interest to users.

Online Account Services Agreement

In this Agreement the words "you" and "your" mean every person with an interest in an account that is accessible by any person who is authorized for such access. The words "Seaguard Electronics", "SKYALERT", "CARCOM", "we", "us", and "our" mean Seaguard Electronics, LLC and its subsidiaries, including, but not limited to, AlarmNetwork.Com.The words "Online Account Services", "service", or "OAS" mean the electronic service that allows DEI customers to access a number of automated vehicle control and security services utilizing the Seaguard Electronics SKYALERT service via the internet or toll free telephone service and an automated interactive voice response system or similar equipment.

Acceptance of this Agreement

You understand that by using any of the services of this site you agree to all of the Terms and Conditions in this Agreement. If a new service is added, your use of that service constitutes your acceptance of the Agreement in effect at the time of the use. You agree to use this service solely as provided in this Agreement. If you do not accept the Agreement in relation to any service, you must discontinue it's use.

Scope of the Agreement

This Agreement covers all services available on this site now or in the future. This Agreement is a supplement to any other agreement you have with us. In the event of any inconsistency between this Agreement and any other agreement you have with us, the Terms of the other agreement shall control. All transactions or communications initiated by you will not be recognized until actually received by us.

Security

You are responsible for protecting the security of any access security device, including your user name and password. You agree to keep all access security devices and means to attain an access security device confidential to prevent unauthorized access to your account and to prevent unauthorized use of the service. In the event you believe the security of your access security device is compromised, you must change the components of the device. It is your obligation to inform us if you believe unauthorized use has occurred. We reserve the right to cancel your access to this service at our discretion with or without prior notification.

Statement of Record

Any account information provided by our OAS shall be considered to be the accounting statement of record. The periodic statement shall be made available after the close of each monly accounting period and shall remain available for viewing for a period of 12 months from that periods closing date. No other statement shall be mailed to you. You shall be responsible for the reviewing of all statements made available to you and for the reporting of any disputes arising therefrom. The periodic online billing statement will contain important information about your account regardless of whether you access your account through our OAS or not.

Payments or Transferring Funds to Your Account

By using any payment or funds transfer service available through our OAS, you warrant that you are an authorized signer on the account from which the funds are being drawn to make such payment or transfer and are solely responsible for the payments made to your account. You further agree that any payment not recieved within 15 days of the payments due date shall subject your account and all related services to possible service interuption without further notice. Any account which has been suspended do to non-payment shall be subject to a $20.00 reconnection fee and review. Any account determined to have excessive use which has also become suspended may also be subject to a service deposit or prepayment condition.

Change of Address

If you use this service to notify us of a change of address, that change will become effective no later than 30 days from our receipt of the request.

Marketing

Regardless of whether you have chosen to opt out of certain marketing offers made from Seaguard Electronics, by using our OAS you agree that we may market our services and the services of other companies on the site through the use of banner ads, "hyper-links," and other similar marketing devices. Products offered will be at the sole discretion of Seaguard Electronics, and may be provided by companies not affiliated with us. Non-affiliated companies will be solely responsible and liable for the provision of or failure to provide stated services, benefits, or products.

Performance of the Service

In no event will we or our officers, directors, employees, or agents be liable to you for any consequential, incidental, or indirect damages arising out of the use, misuse, or inability to use the service, or for any loss of any data, even if we have been informed of the possibility of such damages.

Seaguard Electronics supports information privacy protection as disclosed through this site under the Privacy hyper-link.

Amendability and Severability

We may amend or change any part of this Agreement at any time. If we do so, we will give you notice, if required by law, of any such amendment or change. The invalidity of any provision of this Agreement shall not affect the validity of any other provisions.

Applicable Law

This Agreement will be governed by the laws of the State of California and the Federal law of the United States of America
